I was running through Noosa National Park this morning as I do at least three times per week and on every occasion I witness something of incredible beauty…
If it’s not a pod of Dolphins catching a wave or doing a bit of fishing it might be a Mother whale teaching its baby a few tricks in the relative safety of the Bay. Or a koala literally walking across the footpath to find some juicier eucalypt leaves to chew on or a nice branch to sit on and check out the surfers doing their thing. Let’s not forget the Pythons, Lizards of all different sizes and Echidnas that I have come across or have had to jump over on so many occasions.
Why do I mention this? Well it’s one of the many reasons that make Noosa and its surrounds so special. The abundance of native flora and fauna is incredibly diverse and still thriving in a world that seems to be slowly being decimated!
The constant colours that surround this special environment will only leave a wonderful memory in my children’s lives as they grow up into young adults. When I talk about colours I mean the deepest blues of the cloudless skies and the Pacific Ocean, the greens and yellows of the rain forests and the reds and oranges of the stunning sunsets over the river.
Catching up with friends down by the river for a BBQ is a Noosa custom and just another place to admire the natural beauty that gives the local community one of many places to socialise and enjoy this amazing lifestyle that we have been lucky to find.
In my business of selling Real Estate I come across many people who are thinking about leaving the big cities and starting a new life in Noosa and around the Sunshine Coast. When they ask me my opinion I can only say…WHY NOT! Why not make a change, Why not give it a go, Why not take on the challenge.
